Compassion in Action supports patients and families battling blood disorder cancers and/or awaiting a bone marrow transplant with financial assistance for additional expenses associated with their illness

RESGEN hosts several annual events in Sioux Falls including the RESGEN Men’s Summit, Date Night Comedy, and Parenting Event with a mission of restoring generations of relationships. 

Teen Challenge of the Dakotas

Teen Challenge of the Dakotas exists to transform the lives of people who have life-controlling problems.

South Dakota Salutes

South Dakota Salutes is a nonprofit that honors and supports first responders, military members, and veterans across the state. Through their annual appreciation shooting competition and dedicated funding programs, including a Loss of Life Fund and a Special Needs Fund, they provide both financial relief to families of fallen heroes and grant money for critical, unmet needs in emergency response organizations.

FCA of South Dakota

South Dakota FCA is a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to “seeing the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.” They lead coaches and athletes into a growing relationship with Christ by investing in character, discipleship, and community through huddles, camps, leagues, and more.

Rachel’s Race

Rachel’s Race is an annual community event held in Sioux Falls to honor and remember Rachel Ortman, an avid runner and mom of three who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and passed away in 2022. The race raises money for scholarships and support for families who are experiencing loss, organized through the non-profit Rachel’s Race Inc. Through this event, participants not only remember Rachel’s impact but also find meaningful avenues to give back to those navigating grief.
