Meet Dean
Dean Bertsch spent decades as an experienced Wealth Advisor before transitioning into an Administrative Associate focused on financial and budgeting education for Pinnacle Wealth’s client relationships. He describes his career’s passion as a desire to help people organize and work towards simplifying their financial life so they can have more time to do the things they cherish.
Dean earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics. He received his securities registration in 1999 after 30 years in banking. Prior to joining Pinnacle Wealth Management in Sioux Falls, Dean worked as an independent financial services advisor at the St. Cloud Federal Credit Union.
Dean believes that education and understanding one’s current financial situation is the foundation to making prudent decisions concerning a financial plan.
Dean has two grown sons and 4 grandchildren. He and his beloved wife were married for 43 years when she tragically passed away with Alzheimer’s disease. His 11-year journey with his wife’s disease has given Dean a new level of compassion for those families that live and suffer with Alzheimer’s. He also believes this experience helps him better prepare families facing similar situations.
Dean continues to serve local clients in addition to clients in St Cloud Minnesota, his home prior to moving to Sioux Falls in 2013. He enjoys golf, lake activities, hunting, and spectator sports. Dean has a goal of visiting every major league baseball park for a game to see every team play.
