Ryan Ovenden

Ryan merged his financial counseling practice with Pinnacle in 2020. His purpose is to serve those who are serious about making a Kingdom impact using the resources entrusted to them.

Ryan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™️ professional, and is driven by what is in the best interest of each individual client. He customizes his guidance to each client’s needs and goals and only makes suggestions that are in their best interest. Ryan deepens our approach with specialized training in Family Wealth Counseling. He counsels clients, to develop plans to potentially reduce anxiety around money by bringing purpose and clarity to their work, their money and their lives.

Ryan has dedicated his career to serving others. He has spent much of his time in financial services developing a Biblical approach to stewardship and what it means to live as a steward. In 2012 he engaged in a rigorous four-month course in Family Wealth Counseling under the mentorship of Jay Link.

Born and raised in Sioux Falls, Ryan graduated from Roosevelt High School in 2000 and Augustana University in 2004. He and his wife Danae have been blessed with five boys and a girl. They currently reside in Hartford where they grow, learn and laugh a lot as they do their best to live out God’s calling in the midst of chaos, joy…and lots of “pet” frogs.
